Thanks for the update. Will locate the 24C02 chips, I probably have some somewhere so will see if I can breath life back in the scope. I would be fine paying for a cal house to cal the unit as I am most fond of this unit.

Tried with a VGA monitor, that produces identical results to the scope display. A momentary screen with horizontal lines and no text.
The console port revealed the following result, wondering where to start looking.

TDS754C fails to boot? no test page on screen
My TDS754C having stood unused a while while moving home, now will not boot up.
A blue pattern appears on screen and all buttons light, relays click, then lights go out but no boot.
Checked nvr battery voltage as good.
Help needed for where to start checking fault please,

TDS754C fails to boot? no test page on screen
Hi, I have a scope that sat off mains for some time while i moved house. Now it fails to boot up, there is a flash of blue screen for a second then you hear the relays and the panel button lights go out, the LED display on the A board flashes top & bottom after a number sequence. I checked the NV chips battery voltage as I suspected a fail but both have good battery voltage. Sw8 open then shows the led display go thru a number sequence and still no boot up. Looking for guide as to where to begin looking.
