  • Reviving an RSA3303A with a bad hard drive

Tue, 20 Feb 2024 23:44:29 GMT – Reviving an RSA3303A with a bad hard drive
    Hello,

We have an RSA3303A that we'd love to still use if possible. I was able to replace the hard drive and do a clean install of Windows XP on it, but when I run either Firmware V3.40.000 or V4.20.009, I receive an error message:

    "Installation process was invalid.
Please confirm installation procedure in the manual."

Is there something straightforward that I'm missing?

I believe this machine originally had Windows 98 on it; I can try installing that as well.

Thanks in advance! I know it's a dinosaur, but if it still works we could get some good use out of it. :)

Mon, 13 Feb 2023 22:35:11 GMT – How to restore RSA6114A Calibration files?
    Hello,

I recently had to reinstall Windows on our RSA6114A. I had a backup and was able to recover the .cal files from C:\, but I'm not sure what to do with them. How do I "install" those calibration files after the clean install? Or is it as simple as just putting them back in C:\?

    Thanks for your help!
