  • RE: Increase output resolution when saving waveform to CSV

Understood, thanks. Do you know where in the manuals I can see this information on the 8-bit resolution?

I have tried with both the Series 2 MSO24 and MSO4014B. I am saving to a USB drive connected to the scope.

I am able to save captured waveforms to a CSV file (file > save as > wavefrom > CSV) that outputs columns with a TIME value, containing the timestamp down to 9 decimal places, and a voltage (CH[x]) value down to 2 decimal places. How do I increase the voltage output resolution to 3 decimal places (millivolt resolution)?

I spent quite a bit of time adjusting various horizontal settings -- scale, sample rate / record length -- but was not able to see any output beyond the 2 decimal places. Is this some memory limitation within the device that prevents greater resolution being saved and output to the CSV?
