RE: What are the TDS1000 and 2000 series Display Interface Protocols?
I have a TDS 2024 which uses the KCS057QV1AJ-G39 display. If there's a sticker on the back specifying its protocol, then it's new to me. Where would the number be? Interestingly, all the TDS 1000/2000 use have compatible displays according to the service manuals, but the 2000C has an additional display adapter board uses the same interface. Very weird! -
What are the TDS1000 and 2000 series Display Interface Protocols?
My color LCD broke and I will need to replace it before giving it away to my son. I've collected several 5.7" displays over the years and I would like to use one of them. Unfortunately, the service manual doesn't specify the particular interface protocol for the scopes. It appears there are at least three different interfaces involved. The first is the main board where the signal is generated. The second is the display controller daughter board which converts it over to the LCD display. What are the protocols? I suspect the one coming from the motherboard might be a standard one such as VGA. It allows Tektronix some flexibility in choosing display supplier.
