Hello everyone,

I'm using DPO70604C. I've been encountering an issue while trying to use "custom MATLAB functions" e.g. "filter10to96MHz". After i clicked the function, MATLAB won't launch instead,an error message pops up, stating, "Plugin failed to launch. Please check that all required software is installed."

I have MATLAB installed, and I've tried both versions 2018b and 2019b, along with the instrument control toolbox. Despite this, the problem persists. I'm wondering if there's anything else I need to install or if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.

Your insights and suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Hi Yuxi,

If you press the question mark next to "Custom Analysis Functions", you will see some instructions on how to use it.
You will need to have MATLAB and Instrument Control Toolbox installed for it to work.

Hi Yuxi,

I believe you'll also need to install the ADK (which isn't mentioned in that menu for some reason).

Ignore what I said, you do not need the ADK, sorry.

There's a problem with MatLab on Windows 10, updating the TekScope firmware should fix it: https://www.tek.com/en/support/software/firmware/deployment-package-win10-only-for-dpomso70000c-dpodsa70000d-dpomso70000dx-dpo70000sx-v1014120

Next thing to try is to run these 2 commands in the CMD as administrator:
cd "\Program Files\Tektronix\MATLAB\"
LaunchMATLAB.exe /reset
Additionally, please note that the data format in MatLab must be set to English or it will not work with TekScope.
