I would like to know if tek AFG has this below option,

This is to simulate the tachometer signal which allows the Dynamix 1444 module to detect revolutions of turbine shaft.

Yes, some of our AFG's have a trigger out (depends on the model).

I don't see why not just output a square wave instead for your use case.

Could you plz point me to the right models, I'm planning to procure few for our need<br> &#160;

For a specific model recommendation I would need more information, like:
1) Required bandwidth.
2) Output voltage requirements (and into what load impedance).
3) Number of channels needed.
4) Required record length (if using arb mode).

I would also suggest looking at this page on our current selection of AFG's: https://www.tek.com/en/products/signal-generators/arbitrary-function-generator

In follow up with the post by Janakiraman, the requested information are as follows:
1) Our max frequency requirement will measure upto 40KHz, so any FG would suffice.
2) Output Voltage: Any FG that can produce negative DC voltage (in the range of -13V to -5V). This is not a mandatory requirement.
3) 1 channel is enough. Fine, if 2 channels available.
4) We are not sure of the record length requirements
5) TTL output is mandatory, because we need the signal to be synchronized with the output waveform

Help us find the suitable Function Generator. Let us know if any further clarifications required

Sounds like the AFG1022 might be a good match to your needs: https://www.tek.com/en/datasheet/arbitrary-function-generator

I'm using the tektronix AFG1062 generator into which I've injected a multisinus siganal that I designed myself using matlab. Now I'm encountering a synchronisation problem between my signal generation system, which is obviously the tektronix generator, and my data acquisition system, which is the NI PXIe 6356 card installed on the NI PXI 1066DC chassis.
What adjustment should I make to the generator to ensure synchronisation, knowing that I am using the external reference of the NI PXI 1066DC chassis?

Thank you for your help.

The AFG1062 does not have a Trigger Output, therefore it can't trigger another device/instrument.
sharing the 10 MHz reference is not enough for synchronization.
NI PXI 1066DC will acquire asynchronously.
