checking completion status of INSTRUMENT:MODE and OUTPUT[n]:STATE

I'm automating the AWG5208 via scpi commands.

Is it possible to check the completion status of INSTRUMENT:MODE or OUTPUT[n]:STATE
?

Other than the query forms?

Not sure what exactly you're asking for but I don't believe it's possible to get this information without polling, no.
