Hi, I'm running a vibration test on PCB and I have 5 channels to monitor. I would like to monitor resistance on all the 5 channels at every 1/10th of a second. Is 2010 capable of doing this? If so, what kind of scan card do I need to purchase? Additionally, I have a switching device Keithley 7002 if that helps in what I would like to do.

How long of duration do you need the monitoring?  Think of it in terms of how many samples at your 10Hz reading rate.

Any meter will have a finite reading buffer and so time to xfer data needs accounted for unless your data set can fit in the memory.  In 2010 data sheet and speed, those speeds are for finite number of readings into the buffer.  Then stop measuring and xfer the data to PC.

The 7002 switch frame is obsolete as are the 7xxx cards used in it.  Unless you already have a suitable switch card, used market is only choice.

Rather than interface the 2010 to a new switch, take a look at DAQ6510 with a 7710 switch card.  That card has fast switching and can support your desired scan rates of 5 channels.  The KickStart data logger app does good job on this if also needing some data logging software.

I need to run it for 3 hours. Therefore, I need to make 3*60*60*10 Hz* 5 channels = 540,000 readings. I'm thinking of using a 2000-Scan card. Would it help to continuously make measurements for 3 hours using the scan card?

It might be fast enough, but will be close.

You most likely will need settings on the DMM to speed it up like fixed measure range, small NPLC, etc.

Given the duration and number of readings, you will need computer to manage a loop of measure and transfer the readings for the 3 hours.

Check out example in appendix B of 2010 manual on the scan card usage.

For the three hour task, I advise you setup a scan list of your 5 channels.  This will have lowest overhead/time needed to switch+measure.
Have your PC side software loop:  init the scan, bring 5 readings, store to HDD, pause if loop rate needs it, repeat.

Thanks. One more question regarding wiring:

Hi, I have a Keithley 2010 multimeter and a 2000-Scan card. I would like to continuously monitor resistance using 4-wire resistance method on 5 channels - C1, C2, C3, C4 and S1 (as shown below in the figure). I used a Keysight datalogger previously to monitor resistance using a 2-wire resistance method. In the 34922A multiplexer, I used to wire from C1, C2, C3, C4 and S1 (on PCB) to the HI-input terminals (on 34922A) while I connected the ground terminal (on the PCB) to COM1 HI on 34922A.

I'm thinking I would have to connect channel HI-input terminals on channels 1 and 6 (on scan card) to C1 (on PCB) and LO-input terminal on channels 1 and 6 to common ground (on PCB). Similarly, Ch. 2 and 7 (on scan card) to C2 (on PCB) and LO-input on these channels to common ground (on PCB)..ending with HI-input terminals on Ch. 5 and 10 (on scan card) to S1 and LO-input terminals on Ch. 5 and 10 to common ground (on PCB). Please clarify.

Your description of connections seems correct.
