I am working with the Keithley 2110-120 multimeter with Labview. When running the VI the first few times everything works fine. The problem arises after executing the same VI several times, the time comes when it can no longer establish communication between the PC and the instrument. It seems that the instrument stops responding out of nowhere and the problem is fixed until the PC is restarted. I always make sure to close the port at the end of the execution. But on rare occasions when trying to reopen the port the instrument no longer responds. Any idea why this happens? Anything I can review or configure to get this issue fixed?<br>
