I am facing overflow issues in direct measurements (DCI) with Keithley's DMM6500.  While I have overflow issues for currents upto 3A range on both the front and rear panels, I am able to measure the current on the 10A pin on the rear panel (for reference see the attached image).

Is this an issue related to the autorange function or the current digitization as the autorange does not work for the 10 A range.

Also, I've checked the fuses on both front and rear panels, both seem to be fine.

Has anyone face similar issues? Would it help to reset/update the firmware? Any help would be appreciated

Seems you are saying that the DCI measure function returns overflow for the 3A and lower ranges.
Both front and rear.  No connections and still get overflow.
However, the 10A range available on rear only, is somewhat functional.

To me, it sounds like a malfunctioning meter.
Firmware unlikely to help such a symptom.

Separate from DCI is the digitize current measure function.  Does that still work for the 3A and lower ranges?

I did update the firmware and that didn't help. The digitize current measure function also doesn't seem to work for 3 A or lower ranges. However, it works for the 10 A range with (6.5, 5.5, 4.5 and 3.5 digits).
