We need to send a trigger output signal to a high speed camera that we have to capture a photo based on the signal shown on the oscilloscope. So, we need to trigger the camera with a delay within 1-5 ns. However, right now, we getting around a us delay which does not work for us. How to change it and please guide me through it.

 <grammarly-desktop-integration data-grammarly-shadow-root="true"></grammarly-desktop-integration>

Hi,

the 4/5/6 series all feature digital triggering, which is crucial to get low noise on a 12 bit system. This allows the trigger to have very low jitter, but it does mean that there is some processing time required.

This ~1 us delay you are seeing is the inherent delay of the digital trigger process, it cannot be reduced further.
