We have being taking measurements by doing coincidences (using logic AND trigger) between two scintillators to measure muons and we have seen that within the Trigger settings, in Holdoff, the Random option makes the oscilloscope record coincident events faster than the Time option in which time is set to be equal 0 seconds. Can this occur or is there something we are missing?
Also, when we use the clock to do the coincidences (also using logic AND trigger), we need to understand what window does it use or in other words, what is the difference between doing the coincidences this way and the previous one.
