I am currently attempting to use Visual Studio 2022 in the built-in Windows system to compile C/C++ programs. The reason for compiling within the internal system is to directly control the AWG5204 and generate waveforms, aiming to reduce the time delay caused by data transmission when controlling the instrument externally through an Ethernet connection. I would like to ask if this approach is feasible, or if there are other suggestions to improve the waveform generation speed and increase the update rate of the instrument.

What is the size of Waveforms (in terms of sample) that you need to transfer remotely to the AWG?
the longer the waveform, the longer is the time to transfer and play the waveform out.
Have you considered the Sequencer Option for your Application, so you don't have to transfer all waveform from a PC?

My recommendation is reaching our to a Local Application Engineer in your region.
