I have a Tektronix P6105 probe.
The black plastic cap of this is torn where the pin is incorporated for the x10 selection on my scope.
I took this cap off to see the damage. This seems to be not too bad and maybe I can still glue the cap.
But now I have the idea that the pin does not spring back so well. So less tight. Now my question was whether the whole is still complete and that I may have lost a small part during the disassembly?!
It looks like there is too much tolerance on the pin. When I hold it up, the pin also falls down a bit.
See below the difference between the P6105 and P6106. Because of this I am afraid that the pin does not make good enough contact with the scope
Anyone who can say something sensible about this when seeing the photos below?
