RE: TSG4106A Understanding PRBS Pattern Functions
Hello,
Pseudo random binary sequence (PRBS) is a series of mostly random bits used as a test signal. You can also find more information about it on page 55 (PDF 71) of the user manual.

RE: TDS2022C Uncertainty of Values
Hello,
There are accuracy specifications listed in the user manual under Appendix A: Specifications. These specs are listed on page 110 of this manual: https://www.tek.com/en/oscilloscope/tds2000-digital-storage-oscilloscope-manual/tds2000c-and-tds1000c-edu-series-0. Let me know if you have any questions.

RE: THP0301-B Type Of Probe
Hello,
The THP0301 is a passive voltage probe. It is built like a single-ended probe, but is designed for use with the THS3000 series which can be floated above ground. The manual for the probe will explain more on this: https://www.tek.com/en/thp0301-x-manual/thp0301-probe
For more information on all types of probes, including single ended vs. differential probes, refer to our ABC's of Probes document: https://www.tek.com/en/documents/whitepaper/abcs-probes-primer

RE: TBS1000 Series Trouble saving via USB
Hello,
Make sure that the USB is formatted with the FAT32 File System. This scope should not have any issues with a USB 3.0 flash drive.

RE: RSA306B Trouble installing SignalVu
Hello,
SignalVu version 4.5 has not been qualified for the RSA306B. SignalVu version 4.1 is the latest version for the RSA306B: https://www.tek.com/en/support/software/application/signalvupc-vector-signal-analysis-software--v410022. Try installing this software onto your computer and let me know if you have any issues.

RE: DPO7254 Trigger Recording
Hi,
Unfortunately, the DPO7000 is an older instrument model that is not eligible to operate windows 10. It is possible to update the “relatively newer” DPO7000C model, but the non-letter DPO7000 model cannot.

RE: 5 Series MSO Trigger on Event
The "Act on Event" is standard on both the MSO 5 Series and MDO 4000 although the 5 Series won't support the options for "Mask Test Hit" and similar without option 5-MTM.

RE: DPO4104 Trigger Jitter
Hello,
I would suggest making sure you have the most recent firmware. Here is the latest version: https://www.tek.com/en/support/software/firmware/dpo4000-and-mso4000-firmware-v268. Once the scope has this firmware, you can check that it is working properly by hooking your probe to the Probe Comp on the scope.

RE: MDO4054-3 Trigger Events
Hello,
The best way to count the number of Triggers is to use an external Counter. To do this, push the Utility button and select Ext Signals under the Utility Page tab. Set the Aux Out tab to Main Trigger. This will supply a falling edge to the Aux Out connector on the back of the scope every time the scope triggers an acquisition.
If you do not have a Counter, you can use Act of Event to count the number times your scope triggers an acquisition. To do this, push Test and select Act on Event. Set the Event to Trigger, the Action to AUX OUT Pulse, and Repeat to infinity. This setup will count each time the scope triggers on a signal and show this number in the Repeat tab. The trade-off with this solution is that the acquisition rate is slowed down.
