DPO4104 Trigger Jitter

I'm having an issue with trigger jittering on my DPO4104. When trying to trigger a pulse, the waveform begins to jump around the screen. Would updating the firmware could possibly fix this, if not, what are some other troubleshooting tips do you suggest?

I would suggest making sure you have the most recent firmware. Here is the latest version: https://www.tek.com/en/support/software/firmware/dpo4000-and-mso4000-firmware-v268. Once the scope has this firmware, you can check that it is working properly by hooking your probe to the Probe Comp on the scope.
