    <p>I found this from an article on the web regarding error codes via the upgrade process.</p> <p></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;">Error message</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;">2 File size too large</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;">3 File read error</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;">4 CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) error</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;">5 Type flag error in the firmware file</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;">6 The firmware version of the instrument cannot be updated to the firmware version of the file.</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;">7 The instrument model does not match with the model of the firmware file</span></span></span></span></p> <div style="left:800.059px;top:969.835px;font-size:14.5298px;font-family:sans-serif;"></div> <div style="left:800.059px;top:969.835px;font-size:14.5298px;font-family:sans-serif;">The error message 6 seems to indicate that &quot;down grading&quot; is not possible. <p>1.3.0 was available in May of 2022. It is no longer listed on the website.</p> <p></p> <p>I have attached the 1.3.0 upgrade file. I'm trying to downgrade to 1.2.7 and getting a failure code 6</p> <p>I'm trying to figure out what the error code means.</p> <p>Perhaps you could try the 1.3.0 upgrade to see if you experience what I have re: sweeping in linear mode.</p> <p></p>

    I'm using an AFG 1022 running version 1.3.0.<br> <br> I setup channel one to drive a Tek scope to verify the output of the AFG 1022.<br> <br> When setting up the AFG 1022 to output a sweep function in log mode, the Tek scope shows the sweeping frequency changing as expected.<br> <br> However, when setting up the AFG 1022 to output a sweep function in linear mode, I do not anything but a steady dc state on the scope.<br> I have tried setting the trigger mode internal, external and manual without success.<br> <br> Has anyone successfully used the AF 1022 using the sweep function in linear mode?<br> <br> &#160;
