My team has spent the last several months getting things sorted and finally have our lab bench more or less set up. Four Keithley instruments, connected to KickStart on a PC through a Netgear Ethernet switch, but still hitting snags. Some troubleshooting assistance would be helpful.
  • DAQ6510 Data Acq Multimeter: Runs fine.
  • 2260B-80-27 DC power supply: cannot get IP address assigned.
  • 2260B-30-72 DC power supply: Gets IP address, but KickStart cannot see it even if the IP address is manually typed in.
  • 2380-120-60 electronic load: plugged directly into the laptop by USB due to lacking an Ethernet port, appears in device manager but is not found by KickStart.
Have installed the Keithley I/O Layer C10 and the IVI-COM/IVI-C driver for the 2380.

For the 2380 load, the only application of KickStart that recognizes the load is the Battery app.  That is an extra license (not included in -SUITE).
It can control the load for generating a battery model.

The 2260B may only be recognized by KickStart when using the USB-CDC interface not the LAN.
