You mentioned a solution is needed to characterize the power module and analyze power loss. This seems like an ideal application for our 5-PWR analysis software. 5-PWR enables automated, accurate power system measurements. These measurements do include Switching Loss, which measures turn-on, turn-off, and conduction loss in switching devices.
