I have an issue I am experiencing while using my TDS2004B with TekVISA. Even with the most recent firmware/software installed, the equipment is no longer identified by TekVISA when I switch to a new computer. I has no idea why this is happening because both computers have the same operating system and are linked to the same internet. Can you provide any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

Hello ,

The first thing I would check is that LAN Auto Discovery is turned on. In the OpenChoice Instrument Manager, click on Search Criteria (bottom left), then navigate to the LAN tab. You should see a box for Auto Discovery. Make sure that is checked and that the relevant search source types (i.e., LAN, VXI, and any others you are using) are also turned on for the search criteria.
