Hello,
I am using a MSO64B with Windows 10 LTSC OS.

I have a problem running TICSPRO, a control software for a TI evaluation board on the scope. (It would be beneficial for us to have it on the scope to do configuration and measurement from the same device)

Together with the TI support we figured out that the installed version of IronPython (Version 2.7.3) might be the reason.
https://e2e.ti.com/support/clock-timing-group/clock-and-timing/f/clock-timing-forum/1317016/tics-pro-supported-windows-version/5030811

Is this specific IronPython version required for some software running on the Scope or can I just update it to the latest version?

Regards,
Hendrik

Hi Hendrik,

There isn't really an official recommendation here, you'll just have to try it and see.

If you can install both the old and new version, that might be your best bet.

The software that controls a TI evaluation board isn't working properly when used with the scope and measurements taken with the same device.
