The USB port will not all me to communicate with the scope.
This suddenly stopped working yesterday.

The USB port might have been disabled. You can check this by selecting Utility and then I/O. Go to the USB Device Port page of the menu and make sure it is turned on. If it is already on, try toggling it off and then back on.
