I'm having problems controlling my MSO both through the web browser and the Openchoice desktop application. On the web browser, I'm unable to remotely select the front panel buttons, and on the Openchoice, I cannot locate the device at all. Is there another application I should be using or is there is some troubleshooting I can perform?

I find that internet explorer works much better than other web browsers regarding the escope connection. You also need to make sure you're in the Control tab in order to access the front panel buttons. Regarding openchoice communication, you may need to check in with your IT department as I've found some companies have firewalls in place that can prevent instrument communication with openchoice via LAN. A program firewall exception my need to be made.
