I have a question regarding the Keithely 6514 overhead time.
<p>I want to measure a low-current signal with an electrometer 6514.
I want to read the current value per second from my computer via GPIB communication.
Considering the noise, can I set it to 6 nplc and store 5 values in a buffer so that I can read the average value in 1 second?
1 nplc / 60hz = 16.7ms
16.7ms * 6 nplc = 100.2 ms
100.2 ms * 5 buffer = 501 ms...
I think I need to know the overhead time in addition to the integration time to make the calculation correct, but I can't find any information on the overhead time anywhere.
