My company is looking to purchase an oscilloscope that has glitch mode triggering and is capable of keeping a running count of glitches to display on the scope screen. In the past we've used the TDS6604 and were wondering what the best replacement might be. Most modern scopes only display trigger frequency, not running count, so we've been struggling to find a replacement.

Thanks for contacting us,

It sounds like an MSO64B would be a good fit for these test requirements: https://www.tek.com/en/products/oscilloscopes/6-series-mso It does display an acquisition count so you can determine how many times the scope has triggered and you can also use features like the History Mode or Fast Frame segmented memory as well as more in depth programmatic control to have a good idea of what's going on each time it triggers. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or if you would like me to get you in touch with your account manager for sales details.
