Hi there, and thanks for having this forum;

I am able to easily use VNC acess on my local lan - it works very well.
However, I can't VNC in remotely on the WAN because my modem is already using port 5900 for another server. I realise that I can rearrange that device to go into the MSO24 on 5900, but it would be better if I could set the MSO VNC to a different port (lets use "59123" as an example) and head there. I can't find any settings to do this.

Thanks for your advice
Barry Marshall (Perth Australia)

Hi Barry,
Unfortunately, we don't have a way for end users to change the MSO VNC to a different port.

-Iris Xu

Do you know what kind of router you're using? Many allow remapping outside ports to arbitrary ports on inside devices.

I'd think you could remap anything on the outside to 5900 on the scope.

The router is cable modem Arcadyan LH1000 0.18.15r Here is the port forwarding screen. Items “VNC..” work if I can specify the unique port.
It’s a small issue really. I can fix it.
Barry
