I am trying to install Keithley I/O Layer KIOL-850C10  on a Windows 11 64bit environment but it fails.
What could be the cause?

By the way, Visual Studio 2022 and NI-DAQmx 2024 Q2 is already installed.

Component Visual C++ Runtime Libraries (x86) has failed to install with the following error message:
"インストール中に致命的なエラーが発生しました。 "

The following components were successfully installed:
- NI-VISA 17.5 Runtime: IVI Foundation Inc License Agreement
- NI IVI Compliance Package 17.0: Microsoft XML 4.0 License Agreement

It is possible for individual component installs to fail or do nothing if a newer version of the product is already installed
The best way to figure out the problem and solve it is to install any failed components manually as follows:

Start the KIOL installer exe and allow it to unpack to a temporary directory.
Write down the name of the temp directory and then cancel out of the installer.

Go to the temp directory where it unpacks and then go into the Setup subdirectory.
Look for a subdirectory with KIOL and run the kiol-850c10.msi file and see what happens.
Repeat this for any other components which failed to install one by one.

If you can open the Keithley Communicator and the Keithley Configuration Panel, then you should be good to go.
If not, what is the primary reason you are installing the Keithley I/O Layer?
