I have the same issue as the user of the OLD FORUM:

https://forum.tek.com/viewtopic.php?t=142847

Line frequency detection failure

Quote

Post by ksalamon@irb.hr » November 19th, 2021, 2:57 am
Hello,
I'm using the 2450 smu.
When the instrument is powered on, it posts Error message regarding line frequency: "Error:1142, Line frequency detection failure."
TSP command 'localnode.linefreq' reads frequency=0.
Why is it so, and how can I fix it?
I wonder does this problem influences the measurement integration time? Here in lab I have 50 Hz, so if I set NPLC=1, does the measurement integration time is 20 ms?

Thank you.
Kreso Salamon

--
long time ago, but my was sold as NEW returned device form a ebay seller in Netherlands. But the sticker is from kroatia, same as the old thread name... ANYBODY here knows who it was -- I just returned the instrument to the seller....

there was a sticker 48023 from the previous owner....

Hello,

I apologize, but we are unable to verify the previous poster's unit and related information without the serial number of the unit associated with that post.
Additionally, Tektronix is unable to share purchase and identifying information related to other customers without their consent.

If you believe you were sold a product in error by a third party (i.e. via ebay), you would need to return the product to that individual or discuss proper action to address your concerns with that individual.

I understand that you have returned the instrument to the seller. If you purchase a used or new item via an independent seller, rather than direct through Tektronix or through a licenses distributor, we cannot guarantee the functionality or validity of such sales/product and can only recommend the instrument be evaluated by our Service Center to address any operational concerns/malfunction.

I apologize that we cannot provide more assistance related to this issue.
