  • TCP 202A probe connection to MSO2024B using a TPA-BNC adapter

I'm using a benchtop variable DC power supply operating in constant current short circuit mode, and a DMM measuring the current. Is it technically feasible to use a TCP 202A current probe connected to a MSO2024B using a TPA-BNC adapter, with 12V DC @1.5 ADC?

  • How to change MDO3034/TDP1500 default display from dBm

I have a question regarding examining differential signals with my MDO3034/TDP1500. When I try to view these signals, the results only display in dBm, which is not what I want when attempting to view signals, and I am wondering if this is because I am in spectrum analyzer mode or if I have the scope setup incorrectly.

  • How many wires can I fit through the CT6?

What is the diameter of the wire on the CT6 Probe? I wish to run some wires through it because the probe's maximum load of 30 V is not enough. Please reach out to me if you have this information.

  • RSA device credentials

I am trying to enable file sharing between the device and a laptop running Windows 10, but to look into the RSA (which is running windows XP) requires credentials. I'm not sure what the username and password should be for the RSA since it starts up automatically and bypasses the login screen. Is there a way to find out these credentials for my device?

  • Delayed sinusoidal output

We just purchased the AFG1062 and we're trying to use an external trigger to initiate 10 KHz sinusoidal output precisely 1 second after the onset of the external trigger (i.e., delayed output). We can't delay the trigger as it marks the onset of another event and we only have 1 trigger source. I can't find any obvious options for outputting a sinusoid using an external trigger with an option for putting in a delay, so I suspect that the only route is to use an arbitrary waveform. If this is correct, is there a way to upload an arbitrary waveform? Given a 10 KHz smooth sine wave for 1 second, I anticipate that I need about 50,000 points to define the curve (though more might be better). Since I need a 1-second quite period before all of this, and unless I'm mistaken there's now way to set the "time" of each point, that would mean that I also need 50,000 points between 0-1 seconds, all of which would be 0V. However, I don't want to manually program 50,000 points to define a smooth 10 KHz sine wave for 1 second. Is there another way to do this? I could programmatically write the vector in Matlab, or even Excel if there's a way to upload the waveform to the AFG1062. If there's an alternative way to get a 10 KHz sine wave that is 1 second in duration and starts 1 second after an external trigger, please let me know.
