Hi Teles,
It's high impedance. But I have set the load of function generator HighZ. There is a micro controller in the circuit. Is it the cause? How can I do with it?

Hi Teles,
The pulse is 100 Hz, but I set it to burst mode with only one cycle, and trigger inter interval 60 s. I want ti get a single pulse. The oscilloscope is tektronix MDO34 200 MHz.

We are using an AFG31000. We try to inject a pulse with 3.3 Vpp. We checked the pulse with an oscilloscope. But when we output the signal to a circuit. Its amplitude dropped to less than 1 Vpp. We tried to set load to highZ. Setting it to 50 Ohm didn't work, either. Is there any setting I should do? Please help me. Thanks!

Hi Teles,

I finally updated the firmware, and the problem was solved. Thanks for your support!
Hi Teles,

The firmware I downloaded from website cannot be expanded. http://www.tek.com/en/support/software/firmware/5-series-mso-nonwindows-firmware-v203/.

Hi Teles,

Thanks for your prompt reply. Our firmware version is 1.44.3.444. I'll update it.

Hi, when I saved the screen, it also saved the confirmation message. Please see the attached file.

Thanks Iris. I will do.

Hi Iris,

Thanks for your reply.
The pulse is set at 100 KHz. The voltage dropped before I powered on the circuit. I measured that the circuit impedance is very high, OL. I felt confused that I have set the load High Z. How could it still affect the amplitude? I also tried to set the load to 50 Ohm. The same case when connected to the circuit.

I generate a pulse with 3.3 V amplitude. I set the load High Z and verified it with an Oscilloscope. But after I connected it to a circuit, its amplitude dropped to 2.0 V. I monitored the pulse with an Oscilloscope at the same location it was injected.
