RE: How many current probes can i run with my TBS2204B?
Hello,
The TBS2024B has a VPI power limit of 24 W across the 4 channels.
TCP0020 draw 4 W, you can use 4 of them at once.
TCP0030 draw 8.4 W, you would be limited to two.
You can refer to the TekVPI power Requirement info at https://www.tek.com/en/documents/technical-brief/tekvpi-probe-power-requirements-digital-phosphor-oscilloscopes
The TBS2000B series has the same spec as the TBS2000 series that is listed in the document.

RE: MDO3024 How Do I Set Up a RS-485 Bus Decode
Hello,
For RS-485 you will likely want a differential probe such as the TDP0500: https://www.tek.com/en/datasheet/1-ghz-and-500-mhz-high-voltage-differential-probes
As always, look through the datasheet and make sure that the TDP0500 will work for your specific bus differential and common mode voltages. The bus setup on-scope will be very similar to the RS-232 setup, but with different voltage thresholds. Other parameters in the bus decode menu on the scope are not necessarily standardized, so you will need to know what your specific RS485 bus is in order to select the correct settings.

RE: TBP1000, how to get a one shot picture
Hello,
To set the scope to wait for a trigger event and capture a single pulse press the Single button on the front panel.
You may also want to try setting the trigger to normal instead of auto. To do this open the Trigger Menu > More > Mode > Normal. This will prevent the scope form automatically triggering and to wait for a trigger condition.

RE: Measurement Limit Help
Hello,
You can use measurement gating to specify the area you want the scope to measure. To use measurement gating, double-tap on the measurement and then select the Gating tab. There are a couple Gating types, I would suggest using Cursors or Time. With these gating options, you will need to use the Multipurpose knobs to move the cursors or start/end gate time. This will allow you to measure just the first rise and fall of the signal.
There is also a Time measurement called Data Rate that I believe will do what you are looking to do. This measurement gives the reciprocal of the Unit Interval.

RE: KickStart connect to 2450 SMU?
Version 1.1 of KickStart does not support the SMU2450. Please download the latest version of KickStart.
Thank you.

RE: Generating differential sine waves
Hello,
Yes you can use the second channel to create a differential signal with the AFG1062. Instead of having CH2 be the inverse of CH1 you will need to have CH2 have a start phase of 180°. Be sure to align phase after adjusting any phase or frequency settings.
