I'm using a benchtop variable DC power supply operating in constant current short circuit mode, and a DMM measuring the current. Is it technically feasible to use a TCP 202A current probe connected to a MSO2024B using a TPA-BNC adapter, with 12V DC @1.5 ADC?

No, the TCP202A needs to use the 1103 probe power supply and a 50Ω terminator instead of the TPA-BNC adapter. This is due to the TCP202A being designed for a 50Ω termination instead of the MSO2kB 1MΩ termination.

If you switch to connecting the TCP202A to a 1103, then have a 50Ω termination between the 1103 and the scope it will resolve the issue. Note, you will need to manually configure the channel to support this setup

I'm using TCP202A with 1103 and 50Ohm termination on TBS1104.  What is gain setting in A/V should I use?

Thanks Rajiv

Hello,
Appreciate this reply was some ago, but could you please elaborate on your comment about manually configuring the channel,
"If you switch to connecting the TCP202A to a 1103, then have a 50Ω termination between the 1103 and the scope it will resolve the issue. Note, you will need to manually configure the channel to support this setup".

I recently purchased a P6248 differential probe and 1103 TEKPROBE® II power supply to use with a scope that only supports 1MΩ input impedance (I've order the 50 Ω BNC Coaxial Terminator 011-0049-01) so would appreciate the advice.
