3 years is quite a bit of time for any scope and your DPO7104C to have a solution for you without physically having your scope  to diagnose.
We do have a service manual if you want to keep troubleshooting and replace parts:

Otherwise, you'll have to send it in for repair. This scope is under full support, though warranty for your scope ended 1 year after you initially purchased it.

Are you able to ping the scope at all or get a response with *IDN? when sending your SCPI commands? Are you sure you're saving them with the right formatting and syntax for the file path?

You'll need NI-VISA for the .NET drivers required to recognize your scope as well. https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-visa.html

Could you install a free trial 4-series license like the SUP4-VID (adds Video trigger) or SUP4-SRAUTO (adds CAN/Lin/FlexRay) and see if it still only allows Edge triggering?

Hi Mark,
I see-- so you're accessing remote control via TekScope PC to your 4 series.
I do find it odd that you're only capable of triggering on the edge type, as regardless of what licenses you have, it should come with 9 basic triggers.

Are you sure that the scope you're remoting into in the first picture the same as the most recent screenshots you sent me? I noticed the sampling rate is different than what I'd expect. The UI is also slightly different (missing a "set to 50%" level button, along with the trigger types missing of course).

Hi Martin,<br> You can send in SCPI commands line by line through TekVISA Openchoice Talker/Listener, yes.&#160;<br> Is your Network Address set to Auto (not Manual)? It should fill out automatically from there.&#160;<br> <br> You can also hit Test Connection to see if the LAN connection is being made, or reset LAN as well. You can also make a connection through USB and TekVISA should also be able to recognize your scope from there.<br> <br> -Iris Xu
