DMM7510 firmware update not working

I have a DMM7510 I purchased last year.  It has firmware version 1.7.5b on it. I am unable to get the device to accept a firmware update.  I see 3 different problems, depending on different USB sticks and different versions of firmware that I try to update to. 1) Newer large sticks cause the device to give this error:  Error 2225, USB Mass Storage device format is not supported. 2) If I use an older smaller stick, and put version 1_7_8B on it, then I get this error:  No upgrade file found.  This also happens with any other version I try to upgrade to other than 1_7_10B.  3) If I use the older smaller stick, and put version 1_7_10B on it, then it appears to do the upgrade, and while doing this it says that all the different things it checks are up to date.  Then it reboots.  Then I check the version on the Menu | Info/Manage page, and it tells me that it is still on version 1.7.5b. Very frustrating problem, can anyone help me with this? Greg Garner

Hello, USB recommendations are FAT32 configuration, 16GB or less for optimal performance. Additionally, if you are upgrading from a firmware version earlier than 1.7.10, use the Downgrade to older option from the front panel or use the downgrade remote commands. When upgrading from a firmware version earlier than 1.7.10, system messages will display the firmware version as 1.7.1. This is a cosmetic issue and does not affect instrument performance. I would recommend retrying this procedure with the smaller USB stick, ensure it is in FAT32 formatting, and use the firmware version 1.7.12 provided below as this is the most current firmware version for the DMM7510.
